The purpose of this blog is to expose every aspect of the culture that dwells in Gracepoint that demonstrates spiritual abuse.

As you see from the website above, Gracepoint completely fulfills the culture one would define as TOXIC FAITH.
As a result of this TOXIC FAITH, Christians who attend Gracepoint may live out their lives solely out of fear and worry that they may not live their lives as true Christians. Regular atendees will have to live in a set of laws setup by the leadership from Gracepoint, and if any of these laws are violated, big or small, they would be referred to a severe rebuke session. Former members from the Davis Church and current members from the Berkeley church have reported public rebuke sessions from leaders, including guests who are visiting for the first time. As a result of this strict policing culture, people are unable to live out lives with joy and peace with the Holy Spirit, but in fear living a life with conformity just to gain acceptance from others rather than one's personal convictions in what he or she believes is right.
People consequently suffer the painful process of leaving this church, often with a distorted image of Christianity. Many may feel they were lacking in their relationship with God. In addition with labeling by the leaders of the church and warning others not to associate with leavers, the leaving process becomes more painful.
As a person who is serious about the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, who ought to seek a genuine, loving, and peaceful relationship with Him, I am against these factors that dwell inside the culture of Gracepoint. I am convicted after hearing too many horror stories from people who had the hardest time carrying out their Christian lives in this church. It is time to finally speak out and have our voices heard, so that others will not fall into the same trap we faced.
With that said, it is our ultimate goal to inform the public the problems associated with gracepoint, question regular atendees of gracepoint whether they are experiencing a TOXIC FAITH, and lastly establish a dialogue with atendees about their experiences and perspectives on the church.
